| Week 7: Another week with few upsets (just four), and nobody picking more than two of those correctly. But there were a couple of standouts this week: George comes out on top with an excellent 80% earning himself 13 points, and Mark just one point back with 12 and 73%. Those two got to move up in the standings as a result, two places for George and one for Mark. Among the top six on the season, there were three flip-flops on the standings board: Mark and David K; Ken and Jacob; Tom and Flo. |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
