| Week 8: Finally a break for Dusty! Dusty comes in first for the week, tied with David (his 3rd time) and Terry (2nd time), and this bumps him up 2 spots in the season standings. Big Luke, who finishes the week only one point behind that troika, is also able to move up 1 spot for the only other positive move this week. Emma remains well out in front, threatening to run away with the season and trophy. No Genius (tm) picks this week, but there were a couple of Suineg picks. I won't point them out, but I will say those Denverites sure are fair weather fans in general... (guess I can't blame them considering). |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
