| Week 2: A close week as only 5 points separate the top 8 players. Ben and Susan come up on top with 19, with Emma and Tom on their heels. This made for some pretty dramatic shuffling on the season standings board, which is typical of the early season. We end our second week with Ben, Emma, and Susan in a three way tie for first, with Ben and Susan moving up 6 spots. But Luke Bode gets the nod for biggest jump of the week, up 7 spots from his first week. Only 2 points separate the top 7 on the season at this point, so there's good opportunity for lots of movement again next week. Till then! |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
