Week 1: This time, two of three Tees (Terry, Tyler) top the ticker. Tom trails by two. In other news, a hearty welcome to our newest players, George, Michael, (not to be confused with George Michael) and Caroline! Hope you had a fun first week, because now things get serious. Many thanks to Ben and Donna who have agreed to help hold down the bottom of the standings this week (and beyond?). I'm guessing that they were hoping they'd be tied for 13th place (kiss, kiss), but just missed.
Susan has agreed to write up a one to two page bio for each player which we will post soon so that you all can get to know one another. Feel free to email her anything you want included so she doesn't have to make it all up. |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
