| Week 7: Ken put on a clinic this past week, showing everyone how it should be done. He got both the upsets correct, made the only Genius Pick (tm) with the Chargers over home town favorite Broncos, and came away with an excellent 87% pick percentage, 14 percentage points (2 correct games) ahead of his nearest competitor, Natalie. Roomies Emma and Natalie tie for 2nd place on the week, allowing Emma to retain a solid hold on 1st place for the season, and, uh, allowing Natalie to retain her hold on 12th? Ken, though, rocketed up 4 spots with his superb performance, and Luke and Jacob both hop up 2 apiece. |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
