| Week 13: Highlights from this week begin with Susan coming out on top with 16 points, 2 better than her nearest competitors -- sister Donna, and the Lucarelli's, Flo and Luke. Natalie's week included a genius pick of Arizona, and a tie with Susan for best pick % at 80. Donna's 2nd place finish bumps her up 4 spots on the season standings board, all the way to 9th! Can she duplicate her storied finish from years ago, when she catapulted to the top spot in the final few weeks?? We shall see! David moves up two, and Caroline one, to round out our advancers for the week. Top of the leader board looks pretty stable these days, although Luke recovered 5 of the 13 points separating him from Emma, and Susan keeps sneaking up on Luke, now within 2. But I would mostly watch out for anyone with the initials DP. Just sayin'... |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
