| Week 8: Dusty dusts himself off from Week 7 to correctly pick 71% of this week's matchups and end up on top for the week, and move back into sole possession of 4th place. The Lucarellis both drop one spot and end up straddling Dusty. Flo's potential Monday night Genius Pick (tm) failed to come through. Ben also had an excellent week, just one point behind Dusty, which moves him up 2 spots on the season leader board. The top 5 on the season span a range of 90-94 points, so it's bound to be pretty volatile up there. Ben, Donna, and Mark occupy the next tier, just 4 points away. Everyone will need to keep on their toes as we accelerate into the second half of the season! |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
