Week 4: This was a great week! If your name is Dusty, that is. Dusty picks 80% of this week's games correctly, including a Genius Pick (tm) with the Giants. And that was enough to launch him from 5th to 1st place, back where he started the season, derailing Flo's Express Train to the Trophy for the moment. And Luke, who had been vigorously challenging Flo has been knocked back 4 spots to 6th place.
But it's still early in the season, and there's only a 10 point spread among all those who've submitted picks every week. Keep up the fight! |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
