| Week 3: Ben and Jacob put in a good show this week, with both earning 16 points, and Jacob posting an 88% pick rate for a high for the season. That tie keeps Jacob one point ahead of Ben on the season, and both move up two spots. And this week, *everyone* picked at least 63%, whereas last week that was the high! Susan's apparent big drop of three places on the season standings really isn't all that big (it'll be OK honey...), because she's only 2 points out of 2nd place and 4 out of 1st. NBD. Emma puts in a good showing and leapfrog's her mom to be tied with her dad. |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
