Week 16: Tyler has a pretty amazing week, besting all with 75% correct picks (12 games) and four correct underdog picks. David K did pick more underdogs correctly (five) but had only seven correct picks total. Tyler's total of 16 points game him a three point margin over the next best player this week, George. On the season standings, only Luke and Dusty move up, and those are just one step each. Flo did own the top spot for most of the weekend, but Tom's genius pick of the Bengals kept him on top for one more week. Sensing Susan's rapid approach, David K did manage to distance himself somewhat, more than doubling his two point lead to five, and making it very challenging for Susan to achieve her goal.

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
