| Week 15: There were only three upsets this week, and while six of us picked two of them correctly, nobody got all of them. Emma earns a Genius pick on the Buffalo win -- congrats to her; that halves the gap between her and Luke. Of course, Luke helped close that gap, too, with a lackluster week. Dusty, Flo, and George all have great weeks that fail to move them in the season standings. Susan, disappointed as she is with a three way tie for sixth (after being tied for first through the Sunday afternoon games), was the only player of the top eight to actually move up the standings board, and she has achieved her most recent goal of scrambling over her older siblings. Now all that remains between her and the 2nd place finish she covets is David K. Look out, David! Meanwhile, Flo has closed the gap between her and first place to a tantalizingly close one point difference. And somehow, somehow, Lukes lackluster performance in fact moves him up a rung in the standings. Keep it up, Luke! ;-) |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
