| Week 14: There were six upsets this week, and David K managed to pick five of those, including 10 point underdog Carolina, the week's only Genius Pick (tm). He balanced that somewhat by being the only player to pick the Jets, but a good show overall, earning himself a third place finish on the week, behind Jacob and Luke, and a one spot "bump" up the season standings board. Jacob and Luke only manage to inch closer to their next spots. Donna, Dusty, Tyler, and Ken come into a four way tie for fourth, and all but Ken move up on the board; Donna two spots, the rest one. Susan falls two, but is only one point behind sibs Donna and Mark, making for a nice, tight family grouping. |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
