Week 12: Dusty and Tom share the top spot in a competitive week, with everyone* over 50% and seven of us at 80%+. On the season standings board, there was not much shuffling. Ken and Flo swapped spots, as did Dusty and Ben. David K had a rough week, falling three places, but still in the thick of it in the middle tier. Things spaced out a bit more at the top.
* yes, I know, Ben did not clear the 50% bar, but he was obviously using a "special" strategy for picking this week... |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
