| Week 9: Terry and Susan end up tied for first place this week, after Susan catches Terry with Pittsburgh's Sunday night victory. Susan gets to move up four places as a result, but Terry (Terry who?) only gets to move closer to his competition. Terry's daughter, Caroline, also had a great week of picking, tying the winning pair with 77% but with no bonus points ends up in a tie for third place, along with Ken and Flo. Flo and Ken both move two points closer to the current leader, Tom, while George regains half of the spots he dropped last week. First through third place look pretty tight, and fourth through eighth would appear to have quite a bit of room for re-shuffling. And definitely still time to make the small leap into the stratosphere. Things still look pretty unstable at this point, I'd say! So please make sure you get your picks submitted on time, to afford yourself the greatest opportunity to move up, or stay up! |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
