| Week 6: Jacob reigns this week, with an awesome 93%. Just to be clear, games that end in a tie don't count against you -- the scoring works as though the game never happened, so Jacob picked 13 of the 14 games that counted this week, only missing one of the two upsets that came in. Ken and Flo also had outstanding weeks, both earning 13 points, and Flo being the only one to correctly pick both upsets. Save for Ben, it would have been a clean sweep for the wives this week! Flo's big week puts her right on top of the season leaderboard, trampling all over Tom who scored a miserable 29%. Jacob, unsurprisingly, was the big positive mover over the weekend, up three into third. Mustn't pass over Ken, either, who passed over Mark and Donna to claim fourth place as his own. There's still a bit of a gap between second and third; we'll see if that holds up in the coming weeks. |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
