| Week 3: Tom and Flo keep plowing ahead, placing 1, 2 for the week, and remaining 1, 2 on the season. An excellent showing by Mark, tied for most upset picks for the week with Tom, moves him up 6 places on the season. Also moving up 6 to embrace his dad is Michael, with an excellent 16 points on the week. Emma had a rough week, as did Luke. Even though Luke was only 3 picks shy of a tie for most correct picks, he didn't capitalize on the many available upset points. |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
