| Week 7: Flo foists fabulous first place finish on faltering father of filii. Fantastic finish flings flo five (minus two) frames forward on leaderboard. George also up three this week with his fine third place finish (tied with his son (and also Jeff)). Thanks partly to Sheldon's lack of input, Dusty manages to climb up a step, too. Sheldon, where are you?? Oh, that's right -- South Korea! Greetings from the other side of the world, Sheldon! Hope you find internet access over there -- S. Korea is supposed to be one of the more connected nations... Tom and Luke manage to keep their 1,2 places, although Tom widens the gap by a couple of points. Jeff and Flo earn an almost genius pick choosing Indianapolis, and Tom gets one (and a *lot* of grief) for picking the Jets. |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
