| Week 7. A good week for Cole and Susan, who both capitalize on the small number (1) of upsets this week. About half of us got that one, but some of us picked more than one upset. Mark was predicting that every game this week would be an upset which, well, upset Mark's season standing by six spots. Cole and Susan manage to climb 4 and 3 steps respectively; Clara and Dusty who finished 3 and 4 both advance 2. Tom and Tyler remain at the top, 8 and 4 points ahead of 3rd place Dusty. | Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
