Week 2 - Big Moves, Big Upsets
Well, the only two home teams to lose this week were New England and Baltimore. The only one pegging the home team advantage this week was Tyler. Go figure.
A whopping 11 points separated the top and bottom of the pool this week. Yikes!! Big movers were Tyler, Donna and Clara (up) and Cole, Jeff, and Terry (down).
The early season remains unpredictable, especially with the substitute refs and imploding teams and NFL parity. I guess that's why they actually play the games every week...

| Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
