Week 8 has Cole and Tom in a tie for first: Cole gets there with good picks (77%) while Tom gets there via an extra underdog pick. Similar situation in the third place tie, with Clara using an additional bonus point. In fact, it's all the more interesting in that 2 players picked 77% (10 correct games), and ended up in first and third place, while 3 picked 69% (9 correct) and ended up in first, third, and fifth place (Hi Susan!)
On the season, Tom moves into sole ownership of first, which Mark relinquishes for the first time this season. A good week for Dusty moves him back up three spots to #6. |

| Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
