News from last week:
The Dusty settles on top this week, as it inevitably does. He also moves up three places in the season standings -- unusual for this late in the season. Are the top four out of reach? Only time will tell. Jacob wins the award this week for correctly picking the only two upsets. Three people picked Denver, and four picked Buffalo, but Jacob defined the intersection of those sets. Aside from Dusty, only Tyler and Emma made positive moves on the season standings chart.
This week we welcomed Luke, a friend of Susan's and Tom's, who is testing the waters of the pool. This was a tough week to dip your toes -- more than half our players failed to pick any upsets correctly. Hope you'll stick around!
On to week 13!

| Each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
