News Flash
Week 8: Ken continues to dominate. I thought that perhaps the Colts could hang on, and give me a first place finish for the week, but it wasn't meant to be. After a certain age, though, you have to live through your children's accomplishments, and all three of my kids moved up in the season standings this week, with Clara moving up 5 spots! Part of what helped her was that we didn't receive entries from two folks this week :-(. I am reminded that this week is the last week without a Thursday night game. Weeks 10 through 16 all start with a Thursday night game, so y'all will have to get your picks in much earlier starting then (not this week)! Looking ahead, week 13 has three Thursday games, it being Thanksgiving; week 16 also has a Saturday night game; week 10 is the last bye week; and week 17 has only Sunday day games -- no Thursday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday night games to finish off the regular season. At least according to the schedule posted on nfl.com.
