Week 3: This was a good week for picking the minimum number of upsets, as there were only three all weekend. Michael did best in this regard, picking 2 of the 3, putting himself on top for the week, and retaining the season's top spot. Susan moves up a spot, as does brother Mark, while Ken moves down 2. So far this season, our younger players (with the notable exception of Michael) seem to be struggling a bit. C'mon guys, give those (us) old folks a run for the money!
Patriots were completely blown out this week -- I was glad to be busy during the game, and unable to watch any of it. It was a 25 point defeat when they were given a 13 point spread. Ouch! Hopefully the week off will give Belichick time to regroup. Denver and Seattle had much better weeks, with Seattle even beating the spread. |
